San Miguel de Allende, Gto, México. 2016
I asked for a special permission to photograph the San Miguel Allende’s Cathedral from the Municipal Palace, wishing that there was a sunset of colors. After much waiting and sad because it was not the case and would lose my chance, I sat there for hours, staring at the church. Suddenly, a thunderstorm broke out. I couldn't believe it. Again, I took out my camera and started shooting like crazy, hoping to capture that magic. Hours later, I walked happy, knowing that perhaps I had achieved a photo that may honor the beautiful essence of this magical town.
Sometimes, staying stubbornly for hours, after a frustrating evening, and hoping to make something special happen, has its rewards.
