Sossusvlei, Africa. 2014

After a long trip to Namibia, I wasn't informed that I needed a visa to enter the country, so I spent a night in jail. Frustrated, tired and desperate, I thought that there might be something positive about the situation, or at least I had to find it. I had been deported to Cape Town to file my visa and reach such coveted place. I checked my lunar calendar and I realized that the full moon would end just as I arrived in Namibia again. The new moon would give me the opportunity to take this picture of the most ancient dunes in the planet with the movement of the stars, which in reality is just the rotation of the earth. So, that was it. I took this picture a week later. Everything I went through had been worthwhile.
